If one were to take a poll as to what aspect of the hobby model railroaders enjoy the least, I can say with a great deal of confidence it would be wiring! For whatever reason, the subject of model railroad wiring makes many modelers break out in hives as they conjure up images of tangles of wires, shorts, complexity and confusion. Well, here's the dirty little secret of wiring....it's really not that complicated. You have a few very basic connections that appear complex solely because they are repeated tens if not hundreds of time. If done sloppily it does look complicated. If done neatly it becomes pretty simple. This section will hopefully dispel some of the confusion that swirls around the subject.
